Jae’s Adoption – Family Photographer Seoul

korea Family Photographer

I recently had the privilege of photographing the welcoming of a new member to Kala and Gary’s family in Seoul. This was to be my first adoption photography session, and needless to say I had almost as many butterflies in my stomach as the lovely parents-to-be that I was about to meet. The concept of adoption photography is such a new one, but days like these should be remembered.

Gary and Kala are such loving parents, and you could see from the moment they met that Jae was going to be a welcome member of their family. After almost two years of waiting, all of their hopes, dreams and wishes culminated into one day, and I was so happy to be a part of it. This emotional rollercoaster took us through laughter, tears, fear, and anticipation – all in the space of an hour. I wish them all the best with their new family.

If you are adopting a child in Korea, please get in touch using the contact link above. I would love to be a part of one of the most important days of your life.

  1. Thank you for capturing our family day perfectly! Having these memories documented means so much to us. It was a pleasure getting to work with you and we look forward to meeting up on our next trip to Korea.

  2. I absolutely love your photography. What beautiful shots you captured of this family and their special moment. They will forever be able to look back on that day and vividly remember with the help of your beautiful work.

    Kind Regards,

    Sarah
