Every year, the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise division of New Zealand’s Seoul mission launch a festival of New Zealand food and beverages called New Zealand Food Connect. Last year it was a huge event with both currently imported products and producers looking for importers in attendance. For two days (both in Seoul and Busan), I worked with NZTE as their event photographer to produce the images they required for their internal reports, next year’s promotion, and concurrent media releases. Needless to say, it was a busy couple of days.
For the first hour of each event, I made pictures of the vendor booths and attendees who came earlier than others. These were shared real time with the PR agency to ensure news websites would cover the event while it was still on. As we got these completed and uploaded, the guests started to arrive and the room quickly filled up. For the rest of both days, I was skipping between the main event and several seminars that NTZE had organised for their guests in other parts of the venue.
All in all, this was a great event, and if you’re in the F&B industry, well worth attending. I had a great time with NZTE last year, and look forward to sharing this year’s event with you as well. If you’re looking for an event photographer to work with you on your own event, please get in touch so we can discuss how I can serve you best.
